Travel Dates: July 25 to August 2, 2015      By the time we arrived to Maafushi Island, we don’t have a prior hotel booking, but some staffs from nearby hotel were waiting at the port and offered their room to us.  We followed them and stayed at Picnic Inn for 45 USD a night.      Siquijor is a small island in Visayas region known for its black magic and witches.  But that doesn’t stop us from seeing what it has to offer.      From Dumaguete City, we went to Port of Dumaguete to buy tickets from Delta Fast Ferries that cost Php 160 each and a terminal fee of Php 15 only.  It is the fastest mode of transportation going to Siquijor.      We were greeted with a beautiful view the moment we arrived at the port of Siquijor.  It was the only port I saw with a beautiful white sand beach.      A man working at the port helped us get a tricycle driver to tour us around the island for a day.  We rented the trike for Php 1000 only.  Good thing he is a certified tourist guide!      Our first stop was at Capilay's Spring Park where residents and tourist take a plunge during hot summer days.      Next we visited the oldest Enchanted Balete ...

     Welcome to Cebu City!      It was raining when I arrived in this city on March 14 in the morning.  The airport metered cab took me to the hotel, where my friends booked it one week ahead.      I checked in at Casa Rosario Hotel located at 101 F.      As we boarded the early flight of Cebu Pacific bound for Davao City, we realized that we were on the same flight with Juris Fernandez and the rest of the crew.  We didn’t get near her because we know that she just came from her last night gig and she was pretty tired then.  So my friends, who happen to be fans, ended up just looking at her.      We arrived in Davao City at 9:40AM and we checked in at Roadway Inn, the same hotel where Juris and her crew stayed also.  The hostel is okay for budget traveler but not that really clean.  There are cobwebs in the ceiling and the paint is already fading.   Good enough that the beddings and towels are clean.      Is an island in the Philippines located in Aklan Province.  White Beach is the main tourism beach.  It is about four kilometers long with powdery fine white sand and is lined with hotels and restaurants.  How to get there?      Fly via Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and Air Asia.  You may take Manila to Kalibo flight or a direct flight to Caticlan.      From Kalibo, take a shuttle van or bus to Caticlan.  Then, take a boat from Caticlan Jetty Port to Boracay Island.  Where to Stay?      All accommodation types scattered the islands.  From luxurious resorts located at Station 1, down to the affordable accommodations at Station 2 and 3.  Activities      Activities includes snorkeling, diving, parasailing, windsurfing, kite boarding, and island hopping. --

     Mindoro Occidental is the western part of the Mindoro Province.  The main source of living here is agriculture.  While, the waters on its western coast comprise one of the most important fishing grounds in the country.      Though some of the beautiful spots in Mindoro Occidental remain undiscovered, we flew all the way here via Air Philippines and arrived at San Juan Airport, the gateway to Pandan Island. Off the beaten Path      From San Juan Airport, we took a bus route to Mamburao and had a 3-hour ride on our way to Sablayan.  Vibrant green rice fields and high rolling mountains on the other side awed our eyes in excitement.  Unspoiled by mass tourism, the way of life here is so laid back.      In Sablayan, after we got off the bus, we took a trike to pier and from there a trigger boat arranged by Pandan Island Resort transferred us safely to the island. ...
