     My summer get-away for 2010 is quite different.  Why I said so?  Normally I go to beautiful beaches in the country to feel the summer heat of the sun.  This time we explored the Cordillera.      From Baguio to Sagada, we passed the paved and non-paved roads and a never ending curved roads.  Though it took us 4 hours to reach Sagada, the trip was still worthwhile as we traversed the top of Cordillera’s spectacular range of mountains, some mini rice terraces, a river beside a rice farm, and surely a different sight to please your eyes.      It’s not on my plan but, suddenly I find myself getting an airplane ticket to Camarines Sur to join some of my friends.  We booked our flight thru Zest Air for the first time because at that time Zest has the cheapest airfare.     We were supposed to board our flight to Naga City , when Zest Air announced a delay on our flight.  The departure schedule was moved many times and in the end the flight was cancelled for some reasons.  All of the passengers were so furious and Zest could do nothing about it.  Instead of wasting our time complaining, we just asked for refund and took a Philtranco bus for an 8-hour ride to Naga City just to continue our trip.      We’ve been on the road for several hours and we slept on the bus.      Palawan is the Philippines last ecological frontier.  Calamianes group of islands is one of the most beautiful, located in the northernmost part of Palawan.  Busuanga Island is the biggest, which also includes Culion, Calauit, Coron, and Linapacan.  The gateway to the nearby islands is Coron.      We arrived in Busuanga Airport in a gloomy weather.  The summer getaway with friends turned out to be rainy.  But that doesn’t stop our outdoor mode.      From Busuanga Airport we rode a van that took us to Coron.  While traversing the rough road on the way to Coron is a scenic view of green fields, abundant trees and mountains on both sides.      Albay and Sorsogon were not on my list for 2009 travel plan, not until when Cebu Pacific had a zero all-inclusive promo last December 24-25, 2008.  Since  Manila-Legaspi City had the lowest roundtrip airfare of Php 56, I booked it right away before it’s too late just knowing a little information about the province.      I researched first about the tourist spot, the mode of transportation, where to stay, and what to eat on the internet.  My friends and I usually do this in order for us to plan the itinerary and the budget.  Only to find out from blogs of travelers who have been there that there are many places to see.      We traveled to Legaspi City last February 21, 2009.  Our flight was delayed for an hour because of the bad weather.  During the flight, the pilot announced that we will be forced to return in Manila if the weather will not be good for our landing.  Of course, nobody wants that...
