Batac and Vigan, Ilocos Sur
Day 2-3 (April 6-7, 2008) From Pagudpud, we took a bus via Laoag City and rode a jeep via Batac or you could either take a Vigan route bus which is better because they will drop you off in front of Marcos Museum. Nothing more too see, except for the ex-president preserved corpse and his writings. After a couple of minutes of taking pictures, we headed off south to Vigan City. It took us 2 hours to travel from Laoag to Vigan. When we got there we asked the tricycle driver to drive us to the nearest hotel at heritage site. We stayed in one of the old Spanish mansions at Grandpa’s Inn. If only we knew the name of the heritage street we rather stayed at Cordillera’s Inn located at Calle Crisologo.
